The basic principles of roofing remain consistent regardless of the roof covering, but there are a few key differences when it comes to our roofs compared to others. Due to these differences, we typically offer a comprehensive supply and fit service. The contractor completes the build up to and including the roof deck, and then we take over. Our team handles the installation of the membrane, tiles, valleys, and any flat areas, ensuring a seamless process.
We arrive fully equipped with all necessary materials, tools, and scaffolding, allowing us to efficiently complete the roofing process. Once finished, we leave behind a beautifully finished roof, with all garbage and excess materials removed from the site. Our approach not only simplifies the roofing process for contractors but also ensures a high-quality, durable result that stands the test of time
Choosing IMCP’s roofing system offers numerous advantages for contractors. Unlike most systems, our installation process begins by waterproofing the building, with our membrane approved as a standalone roof for up to 6 months. Typically completed within the first day of our arrival on site, this allows contractors to proceed with interior work, including final decoration, significantly reducing project timelines and boosting profitability. In contrast, other roofing systems may not provide a fully waterproof structure until the last piece is in place.
Our tiles are designed for fast and efficient installation. Experienced IMCP crews can install a 2,000 sq. ft. roof in as little as 3 days, adhering to the stringent Miami/Dade High-Velocity Hurricane Zone codes. This ensures quality and durability, allowing us to offer a 35-year warranty, which also reduces contractor liability.
Similar to traditional slate or flat tile roofs, direct walking on the finished roof is not recommended. To ensure safety and prevent damage, we advise using roof ladders and/or roof walk boards. During installation, we typically utilize walk boards made from ½” plywood backed with 3” or more of foam rubber. These boards provide a secure, non-slip work platform and can be supplied to the contractor free of charge if needed.
Repairing a broken tile is a straightforward and efficient process, akin to replacing a traditional slate. The damaged tile is carefully cut out, adhesive is applied to the new tile, which is then slid into place and held for a few seconds. This method ensures a quick and secure repair, maintaining the integrity of the roof.
Installing IMCP’s roofing tiles, ensuring durability, and weather resistance for years to come. Our roofing tiles provide an affordable, adaptable option that can withstand even the most violent storms.
